This is my adopted sista Carol, she has wanted a quilt for a very long time, so out of my closet I had enough material to make her a queen size quilt for Christmas. She was happy and I too to see how happy she was.
Micah wanted a fleece BYU blanket and so that is what he recieved, he too was supoer happy, and Logan is sporting his BYU Tee Shirt.
Steve said he didn't want a quilt, but Gaye found material that was perfect for him, so I made him a lap well for him it is a lap but ended up being a twin size quilt, he really likes it. The material has prints of all different tools, very appropriate for him.
This quilt I made for Jenny, the girls all picked out their material. I had lots of fun making alltheir quilts.
This quilt is Brooke's
This is Nicole's quilt
This is Rachel's quilt
This one is Sharon's. Gaye looked at all the quilts and Knew right away which was each of the girls.
I started the first of October and wanted them all done by Thanksgiving and I accomplished my goal. I hope all enjoyed them thru the season as that was my wish!!!

My Life for the past 2 months
As many of you know I had foot surgery on Sept. 8th. It was not the funniest thing I have ever done. I was told no walking on my foot, only the heal. So for 6 weeks I walked only it a little and had many people drive me to doctor appts. grocery store and etc. I thank all of you that helped me, by bringing in food, visiting, calling and the like. I did alot of soul searching a and the scriptures began to be my best friend. I had some neat experiences while reading them. Most importantly I grew closer to my Savior, for he answered many of my questions while I was laid up. I learned I am not alone and that our Savior is always there, we just have to ask for his help and he will answer us, rather thru the scriptures, a phone call, a special angel, or whatever. Many of you don't know how much you were a answer to a prayer. I thank all of you.
I learned that I love to embroider, since I couldn't quilt, this has become a new hobby of mine. I also in the past 8 days have put together 5 Christmas Quilt tops for our daughter n laws for their Christmas presents. Now that I can put my foot down and pressure on it next week I hope to get them quilted.
We all have our trials and ups and downs and this scripture has become very important to me as I found it one day when I was very lonely and feeling no one cared for me. Alma 34: 40-41 "..I would exhort you to have patience and all that ye bear with all manner of afflictions;..." " ..Have patience, and bear with those afflictions, with a firm hope that ye shall one day rest from all your afflictions."
May we all be of service to each other and listen to the spirit so has to know when some needs our help, as many of you did for me.
Love you all, Sandy

My accomplishments the past 2 months
I was fortunate to have a friend drop off a 5 gallon bucket of grapes. So I bottles grape juice, oh so good.
Now this is a pet peave of Steve's see in the picture above, this is our couch and I put a peace of paper behind the item, that should be in the cushion below. Yep a needle. Steve sat on one the other day, so I am glad that I found this one before he sat on the couch. OUCH!!
Some stitchery I have done while not being abloe to walk.
The chair I have begun to not like, but sit in to elevate my foot.

Halloween 2011
Steve and I love to carve pumpkins with the grandkids and this year was true to form. We went to Sky and Jenny's and helped carve pumpkins there. Steve helped Jocelyn, doesn't he look happy!!!
Lorilei showing off Minnie Mouse. Jenny carved this, great job.
We went to Maxwell's grave and put a carved pumpkin on his grave. Skyler's kids went with us. We had a good time.
Happy Birthday Maxwell!!!!!Our little angel.
Gaye and I made this wall hanging last year, you pu candy in the pockets then the kids pick a treat. I caught Lorilei trying to get one on her own, and the next thing I saw was her tugging to getg an m&m, and she got it all right along with the wall hanging. I just laughed. She was very determined.
We had our annual Halloween Party. A huge success. Claire, Robin & Reagan.
Sterling showing off the cake I made. I was prfetty surprized it turned out so well. ( I am not a cake decorator)
I saw this ballon and had to have it. It has been 13 dayts and the balloon is still up in the ceiling.
Jared helping carve , Jenny taught us to cut the bottom out instead of the top. It worked real well.
Ellie cleaning her pumpkin out.
Lincoln and Steve
And of course I had to dress up, I had a great time. I love Halloween.
