Today I went for my first real bike ride. I went alone up Hobble Creek canyon. I made it to the rifle range. Oh the weather was beautiful, the hills a pretty green, birds were singing, I saw a deer, squrrell, birds. It was so nice just be outdoors and in the canyon to enjoy nature. I really do believe I was born at the wrong time. I love to be outdoors, my hands and feet in the dirt. I wonder if I could have made a good pioneer? I saw a man irrigating and oh how I miss that, the running in the water, playing in it, and just plan enjoying the process. The only thing that made me sad, was that there are too m,any houses being built in the canyon and taking a lot of the hill side away. No wonder the deer come down and eat my tree and flowers!
The best part was coming down out of the canyon, standing on my bike as I went very fast, I did brake a few times, because had I crashed I would have never heard the end of it from Steve or the boys!

Spring
Hello everyone. It has been a while. I canceled my blog by mistake and after searching for along time I figured out how to get it back. Well, Steve and I have been very busy working in our yard the past few weeks. Flowers are doing great as well as the garden. The grandkids planted pumpkins 1 1/2 weeks ago and they are all up. Bottom left corner. I took other pictures of the garden on my phone to transfer but I am not sure what happened to them. The vegetable garden is growing very well as, tomatoes and peppers are growing fast now that the sun is out.
As you can see the flowers are doing well too.
In case you are wondering, the bottom right corner is the new addition to our family. Twinkie, she is s snouzer and adorable. Totally house trained and likes kids. Dad has fallen in love with her as much as I. Which leads me to my next point, Any one want to baby sit her while we are in New York?
Life is good and the sun is shining. It is a beautiful day!
