Some how these pictures did not get uploaded. Lincoln and Sterling are amazing with their lego's. They put things together so very fast. Their house was our first stop!!!!

Merry Christmas 2010

Steve and I have a tradition that Christmas eve we go to movie and dinner then Christmas day we deliver our gifts to our children's homes. So here you see Steve loading the car, me showing the Jim Shore figurine/music box Steve gave me. Every year he gives me a figurine. It is always fun to wait and see which it will be. Our first stop was Jared and Brooke's home, where as we step up to the door and rang the bell, could here Lincoln announce, "Grandma and Paca are here!""" We always enjoy going to the homes to see there excitement and watch them open our gifts. Steve has been busy since August making these beautiful jewelery boxes for all his Granddaughters. We didn't get to see Blake as he was sick and sleeping
Next stop was Micah and Sharon's, Della was sick and asleep, Micah had called to tell us they all weren't feeling good, so our stay was short. Never the less enjoyable. I found Dr. Seuss fabric in the store and immediately thought of Sharon at the last minute made her a lap quilt. We were sorry they were not feeling good.

Our last stop was Sykler and Jenny's. Of course lots of laughter and happines and non stop chadder from the girls. Lorilei I think loves the staircase and the railing. I took a lot of pic's of her looking and standing by them. We had a good time visiting and then it was hime for us and a day of laziness. We love all of you and thanks for making our Christmas full of joy, love and happiness. From Utah to New York!!!!!!!

Christmas Cookie Time!!!!!!!

Well we all got together and made frosted cookies. I think Jocelyn had the funniest time lickinh the frosting over and over again. Robin was very precise in where her decorations went. Logan, Ryker and Jaxon carefully spreaded the frosting. Ryker had pure fun and joy on his face the whole time. My favorite part is when the kids shared one of their cookies and gave them to me then the best part came when Robin came over to me and said, "Grandma I gave a cookie to Reagan!" Oh how I our grandchildren and love they spread.

Richards Annual Christmas Party

Each year we gather with our family and celebrate Christmas. This year was no different except for one small change. Santa would be coming to visit. I started out only telling Jenny, I weanted everyone to be surprized. Well if you know me, surprises are hard for me to keep quiet. By the end, all but Micah and Brooke knew who was coming. We started out with the traditional picture on the bed with the quilt Aunt Earlene made for Steve and I. As you can see was somw confusion as to wear to sit, but thanks to Jenny, Brooke and Sharon we were able to get some shots. We then mov e on to dinner, playing, talking and then Ellie decided she wanted to do the manger scene. So I got the bible read from Luke as Ellie rounded up her cousins and had everyone play a part. No costumnes, ruff draft but the pint was made. Robin running to get a baby and Logan running to get a box to put the babe in.
Ellie your incharge of next years play!!!! Paca is amazed at her talent.
Well Santa was to arrive at 7 p.m. and it was 10 til and Steve and I kept looking at each other as to when will he be here? We began to sing songs and the boys were playing when all of a sudden Sanata burst thru the door. Everyone went quiet,,you could have heard a pin drop. The pictures below tell all. Everyond was so surprized and into what Santa had to say. Thanks Santa, you made the evening so special. Little Jaxon couldn't contain himself, I don't think Steve or I have ever seen him so very excited. Claire began to talk to him like never before. Jocelyn was a bit taken back as was Della.
